ABC Dance Studio by JoAnn is a local dance studio located in West Mifflin, PA where everyone is treated like family! We have over 20 years of experience and we believe Any Body Can dance!
It is our personal goal to educate your child in a professional, enjoyable environment. Dance classes are beneficial, providing a potential for an interest that may last a lifetime.
By focusing on personal skills, there will be an enhancement of self-esteem, character and coordination! Offering classes in a professional, caring, fun and enthusiastic atmosphere!
Classes
Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Pointe, Hip Hop, Cheernastics, Contemporary, Acrobatics, Hawaiian, Tumbling, Baton, Zumba and Kinder Combo.
Kinder Combo: A class that consists of ballet, tap, baton (hand & eye coordination) and tumbling.
This class is geared towards the younger attention span ages 3-4.
Beginner Kinder: A combination class consisting of ballet and tap. This class is geared towards the younger attention span ages 4-6.
Beginner Acrobats: A class consisting of basic tumbling, stretching & strengthening.
Cheernastics/Hip Hop: A class consisting of a combination of stunts, jumps, tumbling and dance steps for coordination and strength training.
Acrobatics: A class consisting of stretching, strengthening, flexibility and coordination. Tumbling progressing to aerials.
Zumba: A FUN, dance at your own pace, fitness class consisting of cardio and Latin inspired dance.
Contemporary: A class offered to dancers with dance experience consisting of various genres of dance including modern, lyrical & classical.
Ballet: The center of all dancing. Consisting of classical precise steps to encourage grace, poise, elegance & confidence.
Jazz: A class consisting of ballet influenced steps with various types of music.
Hawaiian: Hawaiian hula and Polynesian dancing incorporating the use of using various implements.
Tap: A class consisting of rhythmic beats and sounds created with the feet and proper shoes.
Pointe: A class for the seasoned ballet student where the ballet dancer supports body weight within pointe shoes on the tips of the toes.
